Accounting System Auditor (Accountant) - Part-Time (Temporary, 2 Months)

Developers Plus is looking for a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team in the final stages of building a comprehensive accounting system. The role involves auditing the system's accounting logic, reconciling transactions, journal entries and reports against approved accounting standards, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all accounting outputs before launch.

Job Type: Part-time - temporary for two months
Salary: To be determined at the interview

• Review and audit all accounting transactions within the system (sales and purchase invoices, receipt and payment vouchers, journal entries, returns).
• Reconcile system results (balances, reports, taxes) with the correct accounting treatments.
• Prepare accounting test scenarios and test cases to verify the system's integrity.
• Identify accounting gaps and inconsistencies and submit detailed reports to the development team.
• Suggest improvements to the accounting workflow within the system to ensure usability and accuracy.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the development team to complete the audit within the set timeline.

• Proven practical experience of at least 3-4 years in financial accounting.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial statement standards (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, cash flows).
• Excellent experience working with accounting systems and various accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, withholding tax, and the processing of invoices and returns.
• Advanced computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze data and accurately detect logical and accounting errors.
• Excellent communication skills with technical teams (developers) and the ability to explain accounting cases in simple terms.
